Magnet Programs
Communication and Broadcast Arts/Artificial Intelligence and Media
The Artificial Intelligence and Media (AIM) Magnet Program expands our nationally recognized Communications/Broadcast Arts (CBA) Program by blending creative media with cutting-edge technology. Students develop skills in video production, content creation, photography, journalism, and graphic design while exploring artificial intelligence, coding, robotics, and video game development—preparing them for the future of media and innovation.
International Baccalaureate
The International Baccalaureate Program was established in Europe in 1968 as a means of providing a world-class education recognized throughout the world. Today, the IB program is offered in 6,100 primary, middle, and high schools in 160 countries. Rigorous and with high standards, the IB program is designed to promote international awareness and understanding, tolerance, and compassion, making IB students’ responsible citizens and leaders. I.B. students become engaged critical thinkers and lifelong learners.
Innovative Programs
Culinary Arts
The Culinary Arts Program teaches students the mastery of safety and sanitation, knife skills, and a comprehensive study of a variety of culinary topics such as: soups, sauces, stocks, eggs, beef, poultry, and dairy products. Students are able to apply their classroom knowledge through the hands-on lab experience and through our very own Buck Café. Culinary students can receive Serve Safe certifications allowing them to fulfill management positions in any food service establishment, and college credit to a variety of culinary schools within the area.
Health Science
Health and Exercise Science Programs offers a variety of programs in the healthcare field to help nurture post-secondary career path, including practical nurse, dental laboratory technician, pharmacy technician, medical assisting, and EKG technician. Be ready to join the high-demand field of healthcare right out of high school.
Marine Corps J.R.O.T.C.
Marine Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps provides leadership training, character development, and citizenship education to students, aiming to motivate them to be better citizens. Secondary school students who enroll in the program are offered a wide variety of curricular and co-curricular activities. The program explores the historic and scientific aspects of technology and teaches high school students self-reliance, self-discipline, and other characteristics found in good leaders.
Specialized Programs
AICE Cambridge Advanced Academics
The AICE Cambridge International Program offers a challenging curriculum with a variety of subjects, helping students develop strong thinking and problem-solving skills. Students who complete this program can qualify for scholarships, such as the Florida Bright Future scholarships, to help pay for college.
Career and Technical Education
Career and Technical Education (CTE) opportunities provide students with a school-to-career connection. There is a variety of CTE courses offered that lead to industry certification, enabling students with the training and certification needed to attain employment right out of high school. All Industry certifications are real-world certifications that are designed, administered, and recognized by industry. Students who earn Industry Certifications may have an advantage gaining employment or be eligible for post-secondary scholarships
